In 2018, Megan relocated to Southern California to lead a play-based childhood education program and pursue teaching opportunities aligned with her philosophy on how education can excite young people about their relationships with each other and the planet Earth. She has spent the past 5 years teaching and leading at a small private school in Calabasas, where she served as a teacher and co-chair in the school's Elementary, Middle, and High School departments. Megan’s dedication to broadening student perspectives and fostering academic achievement saw her embrace leadership roles in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice steering committee, curriculum revision team, and special education resource management.
